Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) Uttaranchal University, Dehradun organized Faculty Orientation Program on 06 August 2022. The objective of the program was to make newly recruited members of the faculty understand the roles and responsibilities of the faculty members and disseminate the effective academic practices to be followed in the academic year 2022-2023.
Dr Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS addressed essential academic aspects and suggested the faculty members to follow them accordingly and execute effectively. He also advised the faculty members to cooperate with the head of the department, and examination controller as per academic rules and regulations. He also briefed about the structure and functioning of the institution.
Dr Amit Semwal, HoD UIPS gave the information of NAAC Accreditation and its related Criteria I –VII along with roles and responsibilities towards institution as well as University. He also discussed about the functioning of the library, the formation of research identities, and departmental club responsibilities. Dr Tarun Parashar discussed the examination and evaluation process in all the Programmes D Pharm., B Pharm. and M Pharm and also discussed ERP functioning. Mrs Pallavi Ghildiyal explained the Mentor-Mentee. The event was coordinated by Mrs Jyotsana Suyal and all the members of faculty were present in the event.
