In observance of “National Science Day” a two-day National Conference on “Recent Advances in Science & Technology” was organized in Uttaranchal University, Dehradun on 27th and 28th February, 2017. Scientists, Scholars and Professors delivered lecturers on their respective fields of research. Prof. M.S.M. Rawat Ex. Vice Chancellor, HNBGU, Dr. Vinit Mehrotra, SRHU, Dr. Versa Percha, Head, Applied Chemistry, SBS (PG) College Dehradun, Dr. Prashant Singh, DAV (PG) College Dehradun, Prof. (Dr.) Yuvraj Singh Negi, Head & In-charge IPT Saharanpur, Dr. Yogesh Sharma, IIT Roorkee, Prof. Dhavandra Kumar, Institute of Medical Sciences, Cardiff, United Kingdom were the invited experts.
During the conference, Department of Food Technology of Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences organized Poster Presentation and Quiz Competition. Prizes were given to the winners in different categories by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi. Dr. Ajay Singh, Principal-SALS, Dr. Nardev Singh Director-Pharmacy, Prof. Pradeep Suri, Director-Management, Prof. D. S. Chaubey, Dean-Research, Dr. V.K. Srivastava, Dr. B. S. Rawat, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dr. S.K. Shah, Dr. Harish Joshi were present during the ceremony.
