‘2 ∞ AND BEYOND Club’ of Department of Mathematics, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organized “Mathemathinkers” on 15th October 2015. Prof.(Dr.) S.C.Joshi, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Director- Student Affairs and IT Services inaugurated the event. The event hosted many sports competitions which included Chess, Carom, Quiz, Sudoku, Treasure Hunt and Housie. Students from all the colleges of Uttaranchal University actively participated in the event.
Prof.(Dr.) Ajay Singh, Dr. V.K Srivastava and all the Faulty Members of the Department of Mathematics were present during the event. Dr. V.K Srivastava, Head – Department of Mathematics was the key organizer of the event. Students from B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics (I Semester) coordinated the different games under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Satyajeet Singh ,Ms. Anu Suyal, Mr. Prateek Goyal and Ms. Dipika Saxena.The event concluded with the Award Ceremony wherein prizes and the certificates were distributed to the winners.
