Guest lecture organized by Department of Food Technology (SALS)

Department of Food Technology (SALS) organized a “GUEST LECTURE” (04/09/2021) on the occasion of National Nutritional Week on the topic of “Ensuring Food and Nutrition Security Through Diversified Sources of Food.” during 11:00 am – 1:30 pm in UIT seminar hall.

Prof. M.C. Nautiyal (Former Dean GBPUAT Pantnagar, Uttarakhand) was the respected speaker for the above topic. We are really pleased to have speaker like him. After felicitation & introduction of Prof. M.C. Nautiyal in the presence of respected Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna, Uttaranchal University, Dean SALS, Prof. Ajay Singh, HOD Foodtech., Dr. Sukriti Singh, Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Mr. Yogesh Kr. Awasthi, Mr.Rajat Singh, Ms.Arshi Siddiqui, Mr. Junaid Aman and Mr. Kamran Chaudhary.

Prof. M.C. Nautiyal shared his experiences with us during lecture. He explained thoroughly about different kinds of problems related to malnutrition in India as well as World. The impact of these problems on our mind & body and how it ultimately affects our health.  During lecture he specially focused on psychological/malnutrition problems of students, which are major cause for unhealthy life style as well as food consumption habit in citizens. Prof. M.C. Nautiyal gave good direction to all of us about how to overcome malnutrition and unhealthy life style.
