Shubham Panwar, student of B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering – IV Year, Uttaranchal University, stood 5th in the competition for the title of ‘Mr. Pachwadoon, Bodybuilding Championship, Vikasnagar – 2020’. ‘Mr. Pachwadoon’ is a competition under Uttarakhand Physique Alliance Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship Affiliated to Indian Physique Alliance in collaboration with National Physique Committee Worldwide India. The event was organized in Vikasnagar on 5th January 2020.
Athletes from all over Vikasnagar, as well as other cities of Uttarakhand such as Dehradun, Haridwar and Roorkee actively participated in the championship. All the participating atheletes competed in several sub contests like Physique Round and Talent Round while competing against each for the title of ‘Mr. Pachwadoon 2020’.
Hon’ble Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Shri Jitender Joshi praised the effort and hard work put in by Shubham Panwar and congratulated him for his efforts and said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. He encouraged the students to actively participate in such competitions. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Joshi, Director UIT Prof. (Dr.) Muneesh Sethi, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering along with all Faculty Members and students congratulated Shubham Panwar for his outstanding achievement and wished him best of luck for his future endeavors.
