Uttaranchal College of Journalism & Mass organized Faculty Development Program on Research Methodology from 28th December 2018 to 12 January 2019
The program was inaugurated on 28th December by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitendra Joshi and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi of Uttaranchal University.
The program was attended by Dr. Mukesh Bora HOD Uttaranchal College of journalism & Mass Communication with faculty members of UCJMC and faculty members of different colleges as well.
Mr. Anjum Pervez Assistant Prof. Law College Dehradun, Mr. Ujjawal kumar Assistant Prof. Law College Dehradun and Mr. Vaibhav Uniyal Assistant Prof. Law College Dehradun were the resource persons for the FDP Program.
Before starting the session Dr. Mukesh bora felicitated Chancellor of the University shri Jitendra Joshi and Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi Thereafter all the dignitaries were invited to light the auspicious the lamps it was followed by the recital of the University Kulgeet.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi welcomed all the participants and emphasized on the need of Faculty Development Programs and the need of Research for the growth and development of the University and a nation as a whole. He said the broader objective of the program is to improve the quality of faculty members which will in turn benefit the students.
Dr. Mukesh Bora addressed the audience emphasizing the significance of such FDPs. He also said that This Faculty Development Program on research methodology aims to inculcate and enhance the abilities of the faculty members to carry out independent research, write successful research projects, and finally to enable them for the technical communication considering national/international journal/conferences. FDP will emphasize both research process and data analysis. It will help to master the research process and strengthen data analysis skills. Dr. Mukesh Bora concluded his address by proposing a Vote of Thanks to all.
