A sparkled farewell was given to their passing out batch students by the juniors. Akash Rana and Vrinda Kaushik of MBA Ist year welcomed the dignitaries. Farewell party was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chancellor Mr Jitender Joshi, Vice Chancellor Dr. N. K. Joshi, Registrar, Mr S C Sharma, Principal Law College, Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna and UIM Dirctor Dr. Pradeep Suri with the lightening of lamp. After lighting ceremony the Kulgeet of the Uttaranchal University was played. Dignitaries were felicitated by UIM Director Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, UIM Dean Prof.(Dr.) D.S. Choubey, HOD, Management, Dr. Devkant Kala and HOD, IT, Dr Sonal Sharma respectively.
Shreya Aggarwal of MCA IInd year performed a beautiful dance ‘Krishna Vandna’. Her performance was appreciated by all. A beautiful Emblem of Lord Krishna was gracefully presented to our Chancellor Shri Jitnedra Joshi and the Vice Chairperson Smt. Anuradha Joshi.
A beautiful solo song performanc was given by Krishna Dutta of BCA IInd year. It was followed by a splendid ‘Bhangra Dance’ by Shilpi Chauhan of MCA IInd year. After that Manjari of MBA Ist year gave a brilliant dance performance on latest Bollywood songs. A group dance performance was presented by five girls comprising of Priya Pradhan and party of MBA Ist year. ‘Mr. & Miss Spark of the Eve’ were selected through a process of tasks and question-answer round.

D) ‘Mr. Spark of the Eve’ Title was won by Shivam Singhof MBA
E) ‘Miss Spark of the Eve’ Title was won by Shardha Bachcheti of BCA
A book Titled ‘Basics of Organic Farming’ authored by one of our faculty members Dr. Mamta Bansal (Environment Science) was also inaugurated on this eventful occasion. Chancellor Shri Jitendra Joshi inaugurated an activity under ‘GLOBE CLUB’ of UIM, with the name ‘Ek Kapda Daan’, in which a number of students, faculty and staff members donated clothes for the needy people.
At the end a vote of thanks was proposed by UIM Director Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri.
