Department of Communication, SLA organized a Workshop on ‘Photoshop and Corel Draw’ for the I Year Students on 8th November, 2019. The Workshop was conducted by Mr.Ved Prakash, Lecturer – DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION, SLA.
Mr.Ved Prakash interacted with the students and explained about various features and tools of Photoshop and Corel Draw.
Corel Draw is a graphic design software package available for creating professional illustration for newsletters, brochures, logos and web graphics. This software also includes photo editing tools.
Adobe Photoshop Software is a raster graphics editor which creates and enhances the photos, images and designs. The students acquired knowledge about basic tools which included: Pen Tool, Freehand Bezier Tool, Smart Drawing Tool, Curve Tool, Hand Tool, Zoom Tool and the like.
They were also told about colours, CMYK and RGB (digital and printing colours).
The Workshop was informative and well organized wherein the students acquired knowledge about software and their uses.
