It is a matter of great pride for the university that esteemed Chancellor Mr. Jitender Joshi has been awarded the prestigious award “Uttarakhand Ratan” for his social commitment and great contribution to further the cause of quality education in the state.
The award was conferred on him by the AICOI (All India Conference of Intellectuals) in a ceremony attended by the distinguished persons from the field of medicine, education, Law and social service
The award ceremony was held at Forest Research Institute at Dehra Dun on 12 May, 2013.
