Students of Uttaranchal Institute of Management emerged as winners and outstanding performers in ‘All India Essay Writing Event -2017’. The event was organized on September 4, 2017 by GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM) in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC) and Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM).The topic for the event was “The Greatest Enemy of Knowledge is not Ignorance; It is the Illusion of Knowledge.” Or “Gyan ka Sab se Bada Shatru Agyanta nahin Balki Gyan ka Bhram hai.”
Our students of all the courses (BBA, BCA, B.Com.(Hons.), B.Sc.(IT), MBA and MCA) participated in the event with great zeal and enthusiasm. Out of the total entries 10 were shortlisted and submitted to SRCM for further evaluation and selection at the State Level. More than 12,000 institutes from all over India participated in the event.
The result of the National Event has been declared. We take pride in informing that the following students of UIM have been selected to receive various awards in the form of ‘Medals’ and ‘Certificates of Merit’:
