Slogan Writing Competition was organized by the ‘Guards of Green’- the Environmental Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences on 16th September 2019 to celebrate ‘International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer’. In order to create awareness amongst the young students who will be the citizens of tomorrow, Student Club observed this day with full zeal and enthusiasm to sensitize and spread the awareness for the depleting ozone layer.
Students were given an insight into the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect this fragile shield of gas which protects the Earth from the harmful Ultraviolet radiations. Further to mark the importance of the day, students were involved slogan writing.
