Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences conducts a Workshop on “Impact of Nutrition Education on Dietary Habits”

Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences (UCALS) organized a Workshop on “Impact of Nutrition Education on Dietary Habits” on 6th September, 2016. The workshop was inaugurated with the lightning of the Inaugural lamp by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Principal, UCALS, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Coordinator of Food Technology Department, Dr. Shuchi Upadhyay and Ms. Deepika Kohli.

Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh appreciated the efforts made by Food Technology Department in organizing this workshop. Mr. Sanjay Kumar, in his address, briefed about the details of the impact of nutrition education on dietary habits. He discussed the latest nutrition and dietary habits involved in nutrition and dietetics. He emphasized on improved life style and diet habits.

The Inaugural Session was anchored by Ms. Deepika Kohli. Faculty Members and 40 students participated in the workshop. Dr. V.K. Srivastava (HOD – Mathematics) and Dr. B.S. Rawat (HOD – Physics) were also present on the occasion.
