The Women Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Management organized a ‘Rangoli Competition’ on16th November, 2019. The competition was organized to encourage the students to open up their imagination and creativity. Rangoli is the embodiment of Hindu belief and the festivities bestowed upon us. The students made their respective rangoli in a span of 3 hours using flowers, grass, edible material, natural material, diya, and dry colours. The participants of rangoli also gave a presentation on the design of the rangoli and expressed what it symbolized. The rangoli made by the students was jugded on six parameters –Presentation, Creativity, Overall Appearance and Appeal, Design & Theme, Details & Clarity of Rangoli Art and Colour Combination of Rangoli.
