Hospitality Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University organized a Webinar on “CARRER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY”on 02nd March, 2022 through the virtual platform. Mr Abhishek Anand, Learning and Development Manager, Hotel Hyatt Dehradun was the guest speaker. Mr. Surendra Singh Bhakuni hosted the webinar for all and welcomed the guest speaker. It was inaugurated by Mr Manish Badoni, Principal, Hotel Management. In his Inaugural Speech Mr Badoni talked about the importance of such sessions to motivate students.
Mr Abhishek Anand started the session with the introduction of the hospitality industry and he went on to explain the different aspects of the industry. The hospitality industry is a consistent form of employment in many areas and a great place for young people to break into the professional world. If one is considering a job in the hospitality industry, his/her concerns might be which jobs have the best pay in hospitality and related fields. Although pay is not the only reason for choosing a career in hospitality. It is a large industry with opportunities for many high-paying positions. He also discussed more about various career opportunities and shared his expert opinions and thoughts.
In the Q&A session all the doubts of the attendees were entertained by Mr Abhishek Anand. the session was enriching & gave insights about the different career opportunities in the hospitality industry. The Webinar was finally concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr Manish Badoni.
