With the moving wheel of time we are once again in that part of the year which is most avidly awaited not only by the students but also by the faculty & staff members. It is the time for fun and frolic and the time to celebrate the mutual feeling of happiness & excitement which rises from being a part of this proud family called Uttaranchal University.
Uttaranchal University is all set for “Uttaranchal Yuva Fest 2018” to be organized from 27th March to 29th March, 2018. Once again the entire University is oozing with a positive energy to take the grandeur of the fest to newer heights and to make the event unforgettable for the years to come.
The much awaited Fest is an exclusive event only for the students of Uttaranchal University and it is mandatory for all the students to carry their ID Cards along with them, failing which they won’t be allowed entry.
Events:
The organizing of Yuva Fest of this level requires in itself great management prowess and excellence of execution. There is an expert committee, under the leadership of the top management, comprising of faculty members and few volunteer students working diligently to make this huge event a mega success.
This year “Uttaranchal Yuva Fest 2018” will have competitive events in the three categories of literary, sports, and cultural activities. In the literary activity section there will be a Debate on a very pertinent issue related to women. The Fest will be an exciting sports extravaganza in its own with outdoor sports competitions in Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis and Chess Competition in the indoor game section. There will be Solo/Duet and Group Dance performances by the students showing dance forms from the length & breadth of the country. Nukkad-Natak will be a satirical expression of the opinions on matters of contemporary relevance of day to day life. The artistic streak of the students will find an expression in the Painting and Photography, while on the other hand the tech savvy generation will lock horns in LAN Gaming Competition. Fun Games will also be an attraction.
The Fest will also serve as a platform for War of Bands and a Musical Presentation.
However the excitement of this grand event will reach its zenith with the performance of the band “Street Jammer” & D J Night on the 27th, Comedy Show by the hilarious Ahsaan Qureshi & Star Performance by Indo- Kiwi Star Performer Shirley Setia on 28th and the Celebrity Performance by the King of Bhangra Diljit Dosanjh on the concluding night of 29th March.
