Uttaranchal University orgnaised two days International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanodevices on 23rd April 2022

Uttaranchal University has Inaugurated two days International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanodevices (ICNN) on 23 April 2022. The inaugural ceremony was held in hybrid mode (online & offline). Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Jitender Joshi and Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi inaugurated the event by lamp lighting and appreciated the efforts of members of faculty in the field of nanomaterials and nanodevices. He emphasised the research ecosystem in the University and congratulated the Division of Research & Innovation for it.

The Chief Guest of the event Prof Rajnish Jain, UGC Secretary sent his best wishes for the conference. Guest of honour, Dr Andrews Hauer, Chairman Bavarian Centre of applied energy research, Germany shared his views on the role of nanomaterials in the different domains of applications. Mr Rajendra Gautam, Advisor LNJ Bhilwara group, discussed the industrial application and importance of nanomaterials. Director, Research & Innovation, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Singh & Head, Research & Innovation, Prof (Dr) Anita Gehlot introduced the conference to the audience and mentioned that the conference received good quality papers from six countries and accepted papers have been shared for publication with Scientific.Net. A vote of thanks was proposed by the convener of the conference Dr Ajay Singh, Dean, SALS.

Other dignitaries present were Dr S D Pandey, Dr Vikas Jakhmola, Dr Naveen Joshi, Dr Sanjeev Kimothi, Dr Shaikh Vaseem Akram, Dr Shravan Kumar, Dr Kapil Joshi, Mr Mukesh Pandey, Ms Madhu Kirola and organizing committee members were present.
