Debate/Quiz
An Online Quiz Competition was organized to discuss and disseminate information on various schemes run by the government for the various sections of the society as the University believes that knowledge and information are a potent weapon against corruption. The youth of the country has to be equipped with those morals, principles and crucial information so that they are able to curb the spread of corruption and not only that but they must become an instrument of a positive change in favour of honesty and integrity towards the progress of the nation.

Essay Competition on Awareness against Corruption
The responsibility of organizing and conducting an Essay Competition as a means and measure of disseminating awareness to the young learners against corruption in social life was accepted. The essay competition was conducted online and the coordinator was Mr. Kapil Rajput.
The students were given the liberty to use Hindi or English as their medium of writing and an overwhelming response was received from their side as more than thirty (30) entries were received in which the participants expressed their conviction and resolve to create a corruption free society for a bright future of the country in their creative ways.

Workshop on Sensitization/Preventive Vigilance
The eminent and well renowned Law College Dehradun took upon itself the responsibility of organizing and conducting a Workshop on sensitization of not only against financial corruption but also in all other prevalent forms. The workshop disseminated information on shouldering the role of preservation of highest ethos and to ensure that law is not manipulated in any form whatsoever to propagate the malpractices for corruption in the nation and the society.

Integrity Pledge
More than fifty (50) members of faculty from various colleges and departments of Uttaranchal University gathered in the common meeting area/lobby of the college building of School of Applied and Life Sciences and took the Oath of Integrity which was administered by Dean of the College Dr. Ajay Singh himself. Through this oath employees made a resolve to be vigilant against corruption in all forms in all spheres of their lives.

Grievances Handling – Uttaranchal Institute of Management (30-10-2020)
The redressal of grievances is very crucial as far as the fight against corruption is concerned. The need was felt by the university to make the functioning of the University from the ground level to the top so efficient that all the complaints/grievances/issues of the students are listened to with prompt earnestness and are resolved with highest efficiency and effectiveness. The university follows the system of open dialogue communication with the students. Uttaranchal Institute of Management, under the aegis of Uttaranchal University, contacted the students during this duration and made them aware of the information that was readily available on the official website of the University thereby ensuring full transparency and working towards creating an environment of zero complaints.

In these tough times of COVID-19 all the teaching learning has been happening through the online mode and the official website of the University has been an important resource for the students to get all the crucial information about the various academic programs being conducted by the university. UIT made it a point to spread the awareness against corruption, money laundering, terrorism and terrorist funding to every corner of the country through the efficient medium of internet and uniting our youth of the country against all these threats which are being faced not only by the country but also the world.
