NSS Wing of the Uttaranchal University celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 31st October 2019. The NSS Wing of Uttaranchal University organized a ‘Pledge Taking Ceremony’ and ‘Run for Unity’ to commemorate “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University. Students from all the colleges of the University took the oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and participated in ‘Run for Unity’ to spread awareness. 100 students of the University and 50 NSS Candidates participated in the event.
The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. V.K. Srivastava, NSS Coordinator, Uttaranchal University. Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Mr. Atma Nand, Dr. Shalu Choudhary, Dr. Mohit Kumar, Dr. Narrotam Chouhan, Mr. Vikas Kumar, Dr. Nishesh, Dr. Harish Joshi, Dr. Wasim Ahmad, Mr. Sunil Prakash, and Mr. Arvind Singh Rawat were present on the occasion.
