Uttaranchal University IEEE Students Chapter and Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University organized a Live International Webinar Session on “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence THE GAME CHANGER” on 21st May, 2020.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University, initiated the Virtual Session with an informative speech on the need of conducting these types of sessions during the lockdown. He welcomed Prof. David Asirvatham, Executive Dean, Faculty of Innovation and Technology, Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
Prof. David Asirvatham delivered his speech on big data and stated that it has become an integral part of businesses today and companies are increasingly looking for people who are familiar with Big Data Analytics Tools like Hadoop, MongoDB, Drill and the like. He also explained about the importance of Artificial Intelligence in our day to day life.
The session was highly interactive and helped the students to upgrade themselves with the knowledge of new emerging techniques of big data.
More than 100 students participated in the webinar. Dr.Minakshi Memoria (HOD, CSE) proposed a Vote of Thanks towards Prof. David Asirvatham. She also extended her gratitude towards all the participants for attending the webinar.
