On the occasion of ‘IEEE SIGHT Day 2021’ a line-up of two event named as “Chhal Prapanch” & “Chitragatha” were organized by Uttaranchal University IEEE Student Branch on 28th and 29th April 2021. The event was organized with due permission of IEEE Student Branch Counsellor Dr. Minakshi Memoria and was coordinated by IEEE Student Branch Coordinator Mr. Ravi Dhaundiyal and Event Coordinator Mr. Somil Kumar Gupta. Students from different disciplines were invited through digital means (Mails, WhatsApp Message etc.) to participate and enjoy the event. The event took place at MS Team under the supervision of Dr. Minakshi Memoria, Mr. Ravi Dhaundiyal and Mr. Somil Kumar Gupta.
“Chhal Prapanch” which was a trick trap game and a riddle marathon comprising of 4 different rounds with a unique way of acceptance of answers and awarding marks to them. Only 10 were collected and score was awarded on first come greater achieve basis (ranging from 10 to 1).
“Chitragatha” which was a picture description competition aimed to bring out the creativity of the participants. The participants were provided some pictures and were asked to build a story based on their imagination.
The event was a great success. The winners were awarded with certificates.
