In this time of Covid when everyone is enforced to stay at home and follow a monotonous routine, Uttaranchal University Computer Science Society decided to make this time more productive.
UUCSS, under the supervision of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, organized an event entitled “TECHSPARDHA” on 23rd and 24th of May, 2021. This event was conducted exclusively for the students of BCA, B.Sc. (IT), and B.Tech. (CSE).
Platform used for organizing the event – HakerEarth. The event was divided into two rounds:
Round 1: Multiple-Choice Questions (30 MCQs based on Computer Fundamental, Programming Logic, General Aptitude and Logical Reasoning).
Slots for Round 1 were as follows-
For First Year Students: 11:00 am, 23rd of May, 2021.
For Second and Third Year Students: 3:00pm, 23rd of May, 2021.
Candidates shortlisted from Round-1 further participated in Round-2.
Round 2: Coding Round (where coder has to code for real world problems).
Slots for Round 2 were as follows-
For First Year Students: 05:00 pm to 06:30 pm, 24th of May, 2021.
For Second and Third Year Students: 07:00 pm to 08:30 pm, 24th of May, 2021.
The total number of registrations was 144, out of which 89 students appeared for Round 1 (37 students from 1st Year and 52 students from 2nd-3rd Year).
For Round 2, only 36 students were shortlisted (15 from 1st Year and 21 from 2nd-3rd Year). Out of 36, 35 brave coders appeared for Round 2.
The results were further announced on TECHSPARDHA Telegram channel and on all the social media handles of UUCSS.
From 1st Year Animesh Raturi (B.Tech. CSE) grabbed the First Position and Ashish Chauhan (B.Tech. CSE) & Vikrant Saini (B.Tech. CSE) won the title of 1st & 2nd Runner-Up respectively.
From 2nd Year Jitender Singh (B.Tech. CSE, 2nd Year) was accorded the winner title and Mayank Gusain (B.Tech. CSE, 2nd Year) and Ayush Purohit (B.Tech. C.S.E., 2nd Year) won the title of 1st & 2nd Runner-Up respectively.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Meenakshi Memoria ( HOD – CSE) and Mr. Parag Verma (Faculty Coordinator – UUCSS) by the members of UUCSS.
