Uttaranchal University, under the agreement with the premier IT company EMC2, to train their B.Tech students in enhancing their employability, organized a workshop for B.Tech students on Information Security and Data Collection. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Amit Rawat, the Senior Program Manager, South Asia, EMC2 Academic Alliance, Mr. Navjyot Singh, Program Manager, EMC2 Academic Alliance, Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dr. Anchit Bijalwan and Dr Suneet Chaudhary.
The experts gave presentation on ‘Information Security, Data Science & Storage Management’. Many companies in the world use this system and the training in these technologies is considered crucial for higher employability.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Prof. (Dr) S C Joshi. The other distinguished persons present on this occasion were Ms Ankita Joshi, Chancellor’s Representative, Dr. Vijay Raj, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Raj K Dhar, Vice-Dean Academics and other faculty members of the department.
