The Media Club of Uttaranchal School of Journalism and Mass Communication organised a guest lecture on “Radio in the Digital Age” on 21 September 2022. RJ Devanggana from RedFM 93.5 Mhz was the guest speaker. She conducted an engaging and interactive session with the students.
The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries. The guest was felicitated by Dr Jitendra Sinha, Director USJMC. A short film made by students of USJMC titled “Gaura Devi” was screened for the guests and the audience.
RJ Devanggana conducted an enlightening session on Radio in the Digital Age. She encouraged the students to enter the Radio industry by introducing them with various profiles of the field. She also advised and gave tips for not just being an RJ but also evolve as an overall Media Professional. The students loved her session and clicked photographs with her. She also made the students practise voice modulation and breathing exercises at the end of the session. The session ended with a Question Answer session. The Media Club Coordinator, USJMC, Ms Anjulika Ghoshal proposed the vote of thanks.
Ms Smriti Uniyal, Mr Pawan Dabral and Ms Ruhi Quadri were also present during the guest lecture.
