To celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management Social Club (Umeed) organised a ‘Plantation Drive’.
On the morning of 02/10/2022, the students planted a sapling in their backyard or their locality. The idea behind the tree plantation activity was to propagate the message that planting trees helps to maintain a clear eco-friendly environment, reduces pollution and improves the green ambiance. The students took part in the activity enthusiastically. This drive witnessed the plantation of a variety of plants. The event was organized by Ms Sapna Bisht, General Secretary, Social club “Umeed” and the students coordinators Vijay Devrari and Ashish Kumar.
