Lord Vishwakarma is known as the divine engineer since the Puranic age. As a mark of reverence Lord Vishwakarma is not only worshiped by the engineers’ community, but also by all other professionals. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishwakarma is the builder of all the divine palaces, and is also the designer of all celestial vehicles and weapons. Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated on 17th September, 2021 in Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University, with great fervour.
Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Jitender Joshi, Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Director UIT Prof (Dr) Shiv Dayal Pandey, HOD ME Mr Sanjeev Kumar Joshi, HOD ECE, Mr Devender Singh, HOD CE Mr Avdesh Chandramauli, and HOD CSE Ms Meenakshi Memoria along with other faculty members, and technical staff of the university participated in the auspicious ceremony. Students of the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology also attended this event.
Hon’ble Chancellor Uttaranchal University Shri Jitendtra Joshi graced the occasion with his presence and extended his hearty greetings to the students, members of faculty, and staff. He further stated in his message that Lord Vishwakarma blesses those who respect and worship their tools and remain true to their work.
Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna Vice Chancellor of the University quantified that it is the time that students and members of faculty and staff should dedicate themselves to the cause of advancement of technology, and gain divine inspiration for creating novel products.
