Computer Science and Engineering Department of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University organized a Workshop on ‘ARDUINO’ in association with INSERGO Technologies Pvt Ltd. from 4th April to 6th April, 2019. The experts for the session were Mr. Ashok Kumar (Automation Engineer, Insergo Technologies Pvt Ltd.) and Mr. Abhishek Kumar (Google Adwords, Analytics, Digital Markting Manager, Insergo Technologies Pvt Ltd.).
In his Welcome Address, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Joshi extended his warm welcome towards all the experts. Prof. Joshi congratulated the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for their continuous efforts towards providing such opportunities to the students where they could learn about the recent trends and technologies in the field of IT industry as well as education.
Dr. Sumit Chaudhary, Head of CSE Department introduced the experts to the participants and encouraged them for active participation in such Workshops. He also discussed the importance of Workshops in different fields including Final Year Projects and Research Work.
The session was initiated by Mr. Ashok Kumar wherein he explained the entire schedule of the Workshop. The main focus of the Workshop was to perform hands-on-practical using Arduino. Arduino is an open source development board used by developers and hobbyists for creating projects and prototypes. Arduino has a vast collection of supporting libraries developed by open source users across the world. Learning this platform can help the students in rapid prototype development of their projects. He informed that the content of the Workshop was designed and delivered keeping the above facts in consideration.
