Day 2:
The 1st session on 2nd day was taken by Dr. Sumit Chaudhary, Director – UIT. In the one hour session comprising of presentations, Dr. Chaudhary gave an overview of the latest topics and technology of Computer Science and Engineering. He also gave information about the career pathways related to CSE. He discussed the relation between CSE and Academia. In the 2nd session, Dr. Sunil Ghildiyal, HOD, CSE interacted with the students wherein he discussed about difference between Science and Engineering. He also discussed about various challenging issues which were going to be faced by CSE like Y2K38 in coming next few years.
After this session Mr. Goel, Co-ordinator, 1st Year took the students on a campus visit. During this, the students got familiar with college facilities like Food Court, Library, Labs, Computer Centre, Gym, Hostel etc.
Subsequent to this, the students went to Computer Centre to register themselves in NPTEL Courses. In the afternoon session, Sports Activities were organized in UIT wherein the students participated actively in various games like T.T, Chess, Badminton, etc.
