One Week Faculty Development Programme on “Salesforce Essentials for Business Specialists” in collaboration with ICT Academy concluded successfully on 26th July, 2019. The FDP was organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Technology. Ms.Navpreet Kaur (Expert, ICT Academy), Mr. Aditya Singh (Member, ICT Academy), Mr. Jitender Joshi (Hon’ble Chancellor), Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor) and Dr. Sumit Chaudhary (Coordinator-UIT) inaugurated the FDP on 22nd July. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor addressed the participants and briefed them about the importance of Slaesforce Essentials for Business Specialists as well as for participants of other streams. Dr. Sumit Chaudhary introduced the expert of the program to the audience and wished the participants the very best. This program had a limited participation of 30 faculty members on first come first serve basis. After registering under ICT Academy, the participants were given the tasks and challenges on trailhead and Salesforce. After taking and completing various challenges and getting different badges on each day as per the challenges, the participants successfully obtained the super badge in the last day of the FDP. The FDP concluded with a Valedictory Session wherein Dr. Sumit Chaudhary delivered the Vote of Thanks. Ms. Navpreet Kaur was felicitated with a memento by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University as a token of appreciation. The participants shared their experience with the unanimous conclusion that the organization of such challenging FDP’s should be a recurring phenomenon.
