Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a Faculty Orientation Program for the new faculty entrants on 25th August, 2021. Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS extended warm welcomed to the new members in the organization on behalf of Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He addressed the new faculty members about the University as well as department with perspectives of its vision, mission & objectives. He focused on the strength of the department with special emphasis on Laboratories, Library, and Computer centre.
Dr. Amit Semwal, Head of the Department talked about the contents like academic file which has to be prepared by individual subject in-charge, it contains syllabus, lecture plan, learning objectives and outcomes, time table, question bank, question papers, study material and also briefed about the committees of the department and introduced the faculty members. He elaborated about the coordinators as well.
Dr. Tarun Parashar, Associate Professor (Examination Incharge) explained the examination variables to the new faculty members and the process of work done during examination.
Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal, Assistant professor introduced about the mentor-mentee system of the department and the services available in the campus.
On a concluding note head of the department once again welcomed the new entrants and extended his best wishes to one and all sharing his aspiration that everyone will perform his/her duties towards the institution.
