Online “Industry Institute Academia Meet 2021” was organized by Pharmaceutical Chemistry Club-UIPS, Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, for the students of Pharmacy on 18th July, 2021. The aim of this event was to enable interaction between students and Industrial Experts. Mr. Sachin Singh Bisht, Manager – Production Department, Sidmak Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Pradeep Rangar, Manager, QA, Rhydburg Pharmaceutical were invited as Guest Speakers and Industrial Experts for the occasion. The Speakers elaborated upon the topic of “Good Documentation Practices” and highlighted the need & importance of the same for any Industry or Institute. They also enlisted the difference between documents and records and provided tips for attaining Good Documentation Practices.
A very healthy and interactive session was conducted in which students of D. Pharm. and B. Pharm. participated actively along with faculty members. The event was successfully conducted in the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean-UIPS. Welcome Note was delivered by Dr. Ankit Sharma, Assistant Professor-UIPS. Dr. Tarun Parashar, Associate Professor-UIPS and Dr. Amit Semwal, HOD, UIPS, were present on the occasion. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean- UIPS.
