Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a Webinar on ‘Healthcare Initiatives’ on 22nd July, 2021 on the online platform of MS Teams. Mr. Sateshwar Prasad, former fitness trainer of Haryana Ranaji Cricket Team was the honoured guest of the event. The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean – UIPS. He emphasized on the need of improvement in healthcare system and role of pharmacist in community.
Mr. Sateshwar Prasad, a fine Health Professional and Nutritionist started the talk by highlighting the value of exercise, nutrition and proper diet plan for healthy life style and explained how it affects our healthcare system or body on daily basis. He also aware the participants about the various strategic plans to upgrade the health status on individual. The event was coordinated by Mr. Ashish Dimri, Assistant Professor UIPS under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakmola. About 150 participants participated in the event
The event was a great success and the session concluded with a Vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Pooja Shah Assistant Professor UIPS.
