Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Pharmaceutical Quality System & Regulatory Challenges” on 12th April, 2019, under the aegis of Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology Club. The Expert Speaker of the session was Mr. Sunil Singh, CEO & Founder, Firmamentum Consultancy Services, Dehradun. He is also working as Pharmaceutical Consultant with various industries like Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., to name a few. Prof. (Dr.) Anuj Mittal (Director-UIPS) felicitated the guest followed by Lamp Lighting Ceremony and the recital of University Kulgeet.
At the outset Dr. Anuj Mittal delivered an Inaugural Address to the gathering which included a brief note on the Expert stating that Mr. Sunil Singh specializes in Quality Control, Assurance and regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical product and their manufacturing. He discussed about various departments & their responsibilities in industry, quality control system and regulatory agencies & their functions. The session was very interactive and informative and the participant’s feedback was highly positive. Mr. Sunil Singh answered the queries related to Quality Control, Assurance, placements and internships. The session benefitted around 80 participants.
