Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, inaugurated two-week Faculty Development Programme on “Research Methodology and Data Analytics” on 13th July, 2021.
Thirteen eminent Guest Speakers from national and international level will be sharing their wisdom and vast experience on the topic during the Faculty Development Programme.
The program started with the traditional and auspicious lamp lightning ceremony as a tribute to Goddess Saraswati by our Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi, Officiating Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean-UIPS Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, HOD-UIPS Dr. Amit Semwal along with the faculty members of UIPS.
Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, in his Inaugural Address, welcomed all the eminent guest speakers along with the renowned Keynote Speaker of the opening day session Prof. Sanjay Kumar Jain, Director – Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar (MP) and laid emphasis on the collaborative importance of industry, research and academic knowledge along with the importance of research methodology. Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola stated that today’s modern society demands high quality research, teaching and learning.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Officiating Vice Chancellor, shared his views on Faculty Development Programme wherein he asserted the importance of latest technologies in making teaching and learning impactful.
The Guest Speaker of Day One’s Afternoon Session, Dr. Mukesh Nandave, Associate Professor & HOD, DPSRU, New Delhi, elaborated upon “Design and conduct of animal experiments with special reference to Natural Product Development”.
Approximately140 participants from around the world joined the Morning Session and around 90 participants joined the Evening Session from India and abroad.
The Inaugural Session concluded with Vote of Thanks delivered by the Organizing Secretary Dr. Amit Semwal.
