Uttaranchal Institute of Management successfully organized “Mann Ki Baat” for the students of Management, Computer Application, & Hotel Management on 27th and 28th February, 2020. The Programme aimed at unleashing students’ ideas to design possible course of action for enriching the teaching-learning environment of the university.
A very healthy and interactive session was conducted in which students of all the programmes participated actively and expressed their views. Students kept their opinion with regards to academics, sports, extra-curricular activities, pandemic, etc.
Prof. Pradeep Suri, Dean UIM, motivated students to generate their ideas for the enrichment of the varsity’s teaching-learning environment. Students were also encouraged to raise their concerns about the amenities provided by the university to facilitate their performance. The programme was well-received by the students and a large number of ideas were put forth by them. Prof. Suri took note of useful and potential ideas for transformation into actions. He also listened to the concerns of the students and assured them to resolve their concerns as early as possible.
At the end of the event, Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak proposed a Vote of Thanks to the participants of the event.
The event was vastly commended by the students as it made them feel significant in the decision-making process of the university.
