The objective of the event was to save trees from cutting them down by motivating and creating awareness among students regarding the importance of trees for mother earth on which the mankind and other living and non-living beings rely. Trees play a significant role in our existence. They consume carbon dioxide and provide us with fresh oxygen to breathe.Taking action towards saving trees is not something we would merely do for saving them, but to protect our own lives and our own planet. Save the trees, save the earth!
Around 75 students participated in the competition. The Winner of the event was Ms. Manjeet Kaur and Runner-up was Ms. Shreya Barthwal. Such activities strengthen the emotional and mental health of the students and ignite the feelings of compassion towards the welfare and development of the society. We should save trees in order to ensure the existence of our planet in future.
