The Sports Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University conducted an online ‘Sports & Health Awareness Quiz’ on 13 January, 2021. It aimed to encourage the students to know more about sports and create health awareness amid COVID period. Sports Online Test also aimed to help in the competitive exams like Banking, SSC & UPSC. The question paper was divided into two parts, the first part was based upon their personal hygiene and COVID care and second part was framed pertaining to sports events like national games and Olympic. There were hundred & twenty three participants from all the programs including MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA.BSc. (IT) and B.Com. (Hons.). Student participation was full of enthusiasm and excitement as it was an add-on to the regular studies.
The result was declared by Director-UIM Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dr. Amitabh Bhargava (HOD- Management) and Dr. Sonal Sharma (HOD-IT). Nine students performed exceptionally well in the quiz, namely, Ms.Swati Bisht (MBA III Sem), Ms.Meenakshi Tomar (MCA I Sem), Ms. Archita Verma (MCA I Sem), Ms.Priyanka Kumari (B.Com. (Hons.) V Sem), Mr. Karan Oberoi (B.Com. (Hons.) V Sem), Mr.Parmanshu Singh (BBA I Sem), Ms.Charu Rawat (B.Sc.(IT) I Sem), Mr.Ajay Singh Bohra (BCA V Sem) and Mr.Piyush Yadav (BBA V).
