The students of Pre-Final Year organized a Farewell Party to bid adieu to the Final Year students of SALS on 10th May, 2019.
Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K.Joshi, Director-Student Affairs & IT Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Principal-SALS Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh & Cultural Head-Uttaranchal University Dr. Bharti Ramola lighted the inaugural lamp.
The anchors of the party were Nischay Thakur & Kashish Agarwal. Many programmes including Group Dances, Singing & Solo Dance were organized by the juniors for their seniors.
The seniors were all dressed in their best attire. All the girls were wearing sarees and boys were dressed in formals. The seniors walked down the ramp and the juniors gave mementoes to their seniors along with compliments. The compliment highlighted the most prominent trait of the senior. The seniors eagerly awaited to hear their compliment.

A large no. of students contributed in making this event a grand success, namely, Rinku Rana, Nishchay Thakur, Kashish, Ayush Chaudhary, Himanshu Plawat, Shlok, Gurmeet, Upender, Nistha, Asha, Sangeeta, Anshika, Anmol and Harkamal.
Dr. V. K. Srivastava, Dr. B.S. Rawat, Dr. Poonam Negi, Dr. Nishesh Sharma and Dr. Shuchi Upadhyay were present on the occasion and were helpful in the successful conduct of the programme.
