In order to welcome the new students in the college the Second Year Students of M.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry & Food Technology) and B.Sc. (Hons.) (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Food Technology & Biotechnology) organized a Fresher’s Party on 16th September, 2018. The senior students made beautiful Invitation Cards for their respective juniors and invited them to the party.
The Fresher’s Party was organized by the blessings of Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri Jitender Joshi and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh.
Anshika, Juhi, Divya, Aditi and Nistha were the anchors of the day. The senior students put up a great show. The First Year students showcased their talents by singing, dancing and walking on the ramp. They were all given a color code by their seniors. Kashish Agarwal, Winner of ‘Miss Attractive’ Title in ‘Mr. and Miss Uttarakhand Next Top Model 2018’, was the Show Stopper of the Modeling Session.
In his speech Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh welcomed all the new students and encouraged them to participate actively. He stated that this was a platform where a student’s talents are explored and a bonding along with a feeling of co- ordination and co-operation is fostered with the seniors.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Bharti Ramola, Cultural Head of the College and her team of faculty members comprising of Dr. Poonam Negi, Dr. Shuchi Upadhaya, Dr. Shalini Upadhaya, Dr. Naveen Kumar and students of M.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry & Chemistry) along with all the Class Representatives of Second Year.
The decoration and fooding was handled by Dr. V.K. Srivastava, Dr. B.S Rawat and Dr. Nishesh Sharma.

Shekhar of M.Sc. (Chemistry) I Year conveyed thanks to all the seniors by delivering a beautiful speech, wherein he expressed how a simple boy like him was getting an exposure towards many life enriching experiences, Fresher’s Party being one. On behalf of all the First Year students he promised to live up to the expectations of Faculty Members and Seniors.
