School of Agriculture organized a “Faculty Development Programme” on the topic ‘Quantitative Methods in Social Science with respect to interdisciplinary aspects’ on 13th June, 2019. The Expert of the FDP was Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma. Dr. Amit initiated through a presentation which incorporated elements related to experimentation, observation, hypothesis, prediction, experiment output, interpretation and statistical tool method. He stressed that data should be comprehensive & accurate, both qualitatively & quantitatively. He shared his opinion that qualitative and quantitative data collection methodology could be used to enhance teaching skills. Dr. Amit Sharma elaborately discussed ‘e-paathshaala’ wherein he informed that the lectures in the portal were delivered by renowned, experienced & qualified teachers and concluded by stating the benefits of e-paathshala with regards to students.
