School of Agriculture organized an Industrial Tour to ‘Himalaya Drug Industry’ on January 29, 2019. The tour was organized for the industrial exposure of the students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (IV Year) by Prof. (Dr.) J.P. Mishra, Principal-SOA. Industrial Visits have their importance in the career of student who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of course curriculum and complements theoretical knowledge with practical exposure. The tour included visit to Lab, Herbal Garden and Museum. Dr. S. Farooq, President – Himalaya Drug Industry, delivered a lecture to the students on ‘Art of Living’. He also answered the queries of the students on various issues. The students were accompanied by Ms. Sonali Gaur (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Sunil Prakash (Assistant Professor).
