On the occasion of International Women’s Day School of Agriculture organized a “Poster Making Competition” on 8th March, 2018. The theme of the event was ‘Women need equality not priority’. The objective of the event was to motivate students to contribute towards gender equality Nearly 30 students participated and expressed their views through colorful posters. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi blessed all the participants and appreciated their efforts to achieve the objective of the event. Prof. (Dr.) J.P. Mishra, Principal- SOA and Prof. (Dr.) Badhai Lonia, Dean/Director-UIT admired the students and stressed on the need of gender equality in society. All the participants explained the message conveyed through their respective posters and interacted with one and all present.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Sonali Gaur (Program Coordinator) and Mr. Deepak Prajapati. The event was attended by all the faculty members and students of SOA.
