The meritorious students of Law College Dehradun were awarded the Smt. Sushila Devi Memorial Scholarship for securing highest percentage of marks in their respective law courses for the year 2012-2013. Mrs. Anuradha Joshi, the Vice–chairperson of the Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research, conferred the students with cheques. Smt. Sushila Devi Scholarships are annually given to the meritorious students of Law College Dehradun. So far scholarships worth more than 1.5 crores have been disbursed among the high achieving students.
In a function to mark the Law Day, six students received scholarships, they are Vibhuti Bahuguna, Mayank Kumar, Kriti Singh, Akanksha Singhal, Tushar Bhadur and P.S. Amrit.
The tradition of conferring scholarships has been established to recognize merit among our students and encourage other students to achieve distinction in their academics.
