The fourteen Day Faculty Development Programme on ‘Data Analysis Techniques Using SPSS’ organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Management was concluded on August 6, 2019. Dr. Rajat Aggarwal, Department of Management Studies, IIT, Roorkee was the external resource person. Dr. Babita Rawat, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University and Mr. A.K.S Chauhan, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University were the internal Resource Persons.
Dr. Rajat Aggarwal spoke at length on the finer aspects of research and SPSS. He emphasized upon the need to use the best tools available for quality research. Along with service quality, he stressed on the need of quality data and proper analysis for good research. He suggested some good websites to access quality research papers. He further told that at present, ‘Clarivate’ is the best platform to find and publish standard research papers.
In the Valedictory Session, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) N.K Joshi praised the endeavor of UIM Team in conducting the 14 day FDP and emphasized upon the need of conducting such events on a regular basis for the knowledge enhancement of the faculty. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, proposed the Vote of Thanks towards all for their active participation in the programme. HOD (Management) Dr. Anshul Sharma and HOD(IT) Dr. Sonal Sharma were present along with the faculty members of UIM.
