“Happiness is real only when shared”
Mosaic, the Cultural Club of School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University organised an art exhibition, Eudaimonia: The Art of Happiness to celebrate the World Happiness Day. Hon’ble Chancellor of the University, Shri Jitendra Joshi Ji, Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajesh Bahugana graced the event with their benign presence. Students presented the guests with the smiley badges and hand-made baskets filled with stone art as a token of happiness. The event was commenced with the welcome note by the President of the Club, Ayesh Thapa who shared the vision of the club and the purpose of the event. The students of various schools participated and showcased their talent through different types of art and crafts. They expressed how their art makes them and others around them happy. Team Mosaic also produced a documentary named Eudaimonia which was released by Hon’ble Chancellor of the University. The documentary captured the views and ideas of happiness of various members of faculty, other staff members, and the students of the university. The guests appreciated the efforts of the students and praised them for their creativity and hardwork. The event was coordinated by Club-Coordinator Ms Vidhi Goel and Overall Clubs Incharge Dr Reeta Rautela under the supervision of Dean, SLA Prof (Dr) Sharvan Kumar. With the efforts of the students and support of the teachers, the event proved to be a great success.
