A team comprising of six B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) 3rd Year students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Uttaranchal University participated in ‘Annual Science Exhibition’ (Career Fair-2018) in St. Joseph Academy, Dehradun on 13th October, 2018.
The team of the students comprised of Shubham Panwar, Syed Shahzar Ali, Kuldeep Chaudhary, Manoj Saini, Sahil Singh and Lokesh Bagouli. They prepared the following two projects, which were presented in the exhibition, under the guidance of Mr. Vivek John (Assistant Professor-ME) and Mr. Ravi Batra (Assistant Professor-ME):
(i) Electromagnetic Piston based on Single Slider Crank Mechanism
(ii) Valve Timing Diagram of Four-Stroke Internal Combustion Engine
Both the projects were the center of attraction in the exhibition among the students & guardians present. Many people clarified their doubts regarding the opening and closing of valves of I.C.Engines and learned technical facts about Single Slider Crank Mechanism. They appreciated the teams for their excellent work and presentation of the respective models. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to pursue more such endeavors.
