A state-level ‘Digital Essay Competition’ was organized by the Forest Department of Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand Environment Protection & Pollution Control Board (UEPPCB) and Gati Foundation, Dehradun on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’. The theme of the Essay Competition was “Beat Plastic Pollution” in which students from all over the state participated. The competition aimed at inculcating environmental awareness among the youth of the nation.
Students of Law College Dehradun, namely, Vaishnavi Mehta ( B.A. LL.B, IV Year) and Bhawana Keshwani ( LL.B., II Year) secured 1st and 3rd Position respectively and were felicitated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat for their achievement.
Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi appreciated the students for their fabulous effort and consequent victory. Principal & Dean Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna also conveyed his heartiest congratulations to the students and wished them to keep up their competitive spirit and enthusiasm.
