School of Liberal Arts’ Knowledge Sharing Series on Understanding and presentation of NAAC Criterions

The fifth session of the Knowledge Sharing Series was conducted on 24th November,2021 in room no 210, SLA. The session started with a welcome note by the coordinator. The speaker of the third session was Mr Komil Kumar.

This session of KSS was focused on the presentation of NAAC Criteria. As the university is preparing for the audit, the topic stood quite relevant and significant. Though the rules and policies are quite clear to all the faculty members, there are new joinees who are always keen to know details of the working culture of the organization.

This session held equal importance to the old employees too as it offered a good recap of each and every detail. Mr Komil discussed the anticipated score of the School of Liberal Arts if it enters the audit the same day. Various activities and programs were discussed to be organized so as to reach a higher position and get a desirable grade. It was also discussed that students should be encouraged to enrol themselves in Swayam/NPTEL Courses. More extra-curricular activities which are student centric were discussed. Faculty members were also suggested to write research papers and get them published in reputed journals as it will also improve the score of SLA in NAAC audit.

Dean-SLA Prof Shravan Kumar discussed the role of mentors and also emphasized on creating a good rapport with students and taking their issues seriously and offering them good guidance. He also advised the faculty members to study all the criteria files thoroughly and start preparing presentations. The session was highly interactive and useful. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Pinki Chugh, Coordinator, KSS.
