School of Agriculture, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, organized a one-day Workshop on “Research Methodology & Scientific Writing” on 8th February, 2020. The key objective of this workshop was to increase awareness and to clarify relevant laws about research work and publication among the students and faculty members of Uttaranchal University. The Workshop aimed to understand the significance of alignment amongst the fundamental elements of effective teaching and learning. The focus was to provide a comprehensive overview of a broad range of research paradigms and methods. The key speaker Dr. Mosam Sinha quoted by saying ‘Scientific Writing is intended to be entertaining enough to capture the continued interest of potential readers, its style is much less somber than the usual scientific writing. The use of slang, puns, and other word plays on the English language are accepted and even encouraged.’
