UIPS organized a student rally aimed towards awareness and sensitization of peoples living in slum areas about the importance of water conservation on 22nd September, 2019. The rally was flagged off from the university campus by Director of UIPS Dr. Anuj Mittal. He instructed the students about their duties and roles and also guided them about their responsibilities during rally on road side.
The students enchanted various slogans regarding the importance of water conservation. Students visited the nearby slum areas and distributed pamphlets. Students also went in for one to one dialogue with the residing peoples and told them about the importance of water conservation and also about the methods to conserve water. After visiting the slum areas students also visited the nearby shops and distributed pamphlets. The rally was organized by Mr. Ashish Dimri under the guidance of Dr. Anuj Mittal (Director – UIPS) and under the supervision of Dr. Amit Semwal (HOD- UIPS).
