Uttaranchal Institute of Technology and Uttaranchal Institute of Management of Uttaranchal university received the prestigious most promising Engineering Institute of India and Most promising Management Institute of India Award at the ‘Jagran Josh Institute Ranking 2017’ at a grand ceremony held at New Delhi. The award was given by Hon’ble Minister of State Human Resources and Development, Shri Upendra Kushwaha to Hon’ble Chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Shri Jitender Joshi and Director, Student Affairs & Information Technology of the university, Dr. Abhishek Joshi.
This national award conferred on the name of ‘Jagran Josh Institute Ranking’ is given on the basis of reports provided from the students as well as the corporate sector after the factual assessment of the services rendered by the concerned institute. The organizers gave preference to U.I.T. and U.I.M. of Uttaranchal University for providing corporate friendly commercial education in-campus facilities to students and commendable student placements.
On this occasion a seminar on the topic “Challenges before Higher Education and How to Uplift Higher Education” was organized in which educationists from across the country vigorously participated. These educationists offered valuable suggestions for the upliftment of Higher Education and also stated that ranking of educational institutions would be helpful for students in picking the right institute for their career.
Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi congratulated the faculties, employees and students of the University for this Remarkable Achievement. He remarked that the faculties of the university have excellently employed the resources provided to them which resulted into the remarkable progress of the students. He expressed satisfaction that the alumni of U.I.T and U.I.M are getting campus placements in various national and multi-national companies.
